Kids mostly enjoy the Christmas paper crafted gifts. Giving a greetings card for Christmas is something we always teach our children to adhere to and better if they learn to create the greetings card at home itself. Most kids cherish the ideas of Santa Claus coming with gifts while few others love their elves and fairy angels making their dreams come true. If they learn to create these Christmas characters of their choices at home and on paper then you can make them sit and concentrate on these crafts and also allow them to explore their creative side.

Hand printed greeting cards: Make lovely hand printed Christmas greetings cards for your loved ones. For this all you need is a white paper, scissors, gum, pencils, acrylic poster colors and watercolors and crayons. You need to cut the paper into a desired square or rectangular shape. Draw a flower with the pencil on the front portion of the card. Then you can paint the petals as you dip your fingers in the by acrylic colors. To make it look more prominent you can finally brighten the borders of your flower with the crayon pastels. You can write a small poem or quotation for your loved ones in the interior of the card.

Santa Hat: Kids have always been fascinated with Santa Claus and a Santa hat is the ultimate way for you to show them how much you love them and care for them. To make your cute Santa hat you need a large construction paper, which can also be of a regular size and make sure that it's a red paper. The other things that you need small patches of black, yellow, and pink paper, a pencil, hole punch, red crayon or a marker, stapler, glue, and cotton balls.

For Santa hat you need to extract a half circle from the construction paper. Twist the half circle into a cone-shaped hat and staple this cone along the seams. For Santa's face cut a circle of pink paper and glue it to the main cone and cut a black paper strip and attach it to the cone for Santa's belt. For the belt's buckle, a small yellow rectangle should be cut out and glued to the belt. Attach a cotton ball on top of Santa's hat. Simultaneously glue some cotton balls around the cone just above Santa's face and to the bottom of his hat. For Santa's beard, glue some cotton balls around his face. Cut out 2 black paper circles for his eyes by using the hole punch and just glue these eyes to Santa and draw a mouth.
