Bad Santa

The celebrations of Christmas always don't have to be seriously religious and the theme of Christmas has certain hilarious side to it. Bad Santa is one such movie which though has its share of comedy and amusement, at the same time imparts the valuable message of being with ones dear ones. The movie Bad Santa was released on November 26, 2003 and was directed by Terry Zwigoff and produced by Joel and Ethan Coen. The movie features Billy Bob Thornton as Willie T.Stokes, Tony Cox as Marcus, John Ritter as Bob Chipeska, Bernie Mac as security chief, Gin, Lauren Graham as bartender Sue, Brett Kelly as Thurman Merman.

Willie T. Stokes features as a mall Santa and Marcus the dwarf friend of Santa. They plan to rob the mall, after this Marcus lives happily with his wife and Willie wastes all his money in Miami. The duo further plan to rob a new mall but Bob Chipeska the mall owner informs the security chief. Willie amidst all sorts of chaos of getting beaten up a Hindustani man comes across Thurman Merman who saves him from getting beaten up.

In the meantime Chipeska decides to hire Willie for his mall and Marcus threatens Chipseka for discrimination towards African Americans. Willie starts spending more time with the kid and recognizes certain changes as he starts caring about the kid and teaches him how to yard of the bullies beat up the kid every now and then.

Marcus gets disgusted with Willie's reckless nature and the security chief finds out Willie's history with Marcus demanding half the money from their robbery. Willie out of disgust decides to commit suicide but drops the idea on seeing how badly the kid (Kelly) was beaten up by the bullies. He writes a letter to the police explaining the reasons behind the mall robbery and asks Thurman to give it to the police.



Thurman gives Willie a present and asks for a pink stuffed elephant for Christmas as he didn't get any gifts for last 2 years. On the night of the mall robbery Marcus kills the security guards who demands half of the money. Marcus decides to kill Willie after robbing the mall but police appears and Willie gets shot by police while trying to run to Thurman with his Christmas gift but Willie gets released easily as his letter helped the cops to prevent the robbery. Willie decides to stay with Thurman and the bartender Sue whom he had met in the bar sometime back. Thurman also stands up for himself against the bully and makes sure they don't mess with him again.
